The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) is the national credit transfer system for all levels of qualifications in Scotland. SCQF can be mapped across EQF (European Qualifications Framework), RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework England), QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework, England).
Through the SQA Credit Rating Service, Java Institute was able to gain recognition for existing in-house qualifications and training programmes based on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework, where relevant SCQF levels and credits were allocated.
